At least six people were injured on Sunday in Bouake, the second largest city in Ivory coast which is still being controlled by mutinous soldiers.
The revolt has been escalated over demands for bonus payments.
The mutineers were reported shooting on Sunday in to the air to prevent inhabitants of Bouake from coming out their homes.
A mother of Three and five other men were reported victims of the several gunfires that transpired over the weekend.
The residents were attempting to demonstrate to show their discontent against the mutineers. Some citizens expressed their concerns over the ongoing mutiny.
The mutineers opened up access to the city but Ivorian defence minister has vowed not to negotiate with the renegade troops.
